Charles B. Anderson 

Charles B. Anderson retired in 2021 as the head of Skuld North America, New York based representatives of the Skuld P&I Club, a position he held since 1998.  Previously he was a partner in Holland & Knight, where he practiced in all areas of maritime law.  He was educated at Columbia College and received a Master’s degree from Princeton University and a law degree from Columbia Law School and from 2007-2019 was an adjunct professor of law at Columbia University where he taught admiralty and marine environmental law.  He is co-author of Shipping and the Environment (Informa by Routledge), now in its third edition.  He is a member of the Society of Maritime Arbitrators in New York and served as a Commander in the US Naval Reserve.
